Liver Detox
Detoxing is an efficient way to cleanse the liver from toxins allowing it to neutralize estrogen more efficiently.
1st week - -Go down on the food chain and consume
lots of raw vegetables.
No animal products (except wild fish, eggs) are allowed and no refined carbs/sugar. Also do
not drink any alcohol and no soft drinks during those 2 weeks.
2nd week - On week 2 we will stay with the same
type of diet but add a bit to it as we want it to be high on good fats which would promote the anti-estrogenic
hormones: Progesterone and Testosterone. This will also teach the body to adapt
from Carbohydrates fuel to fat fuel allowing you to burn fat more efficiently.
During the 2nd week, most people experience increased sex drive and a slimming down effect.
We will follow the same diet as in week 1 but Increased our intake of raw nuts, seeds,
avocados etc.. Fat from the bottom of the food chain.
A few good rules of effective detox are:
- Under-eat during the day for enhanced liver detox effect (periodic fasting)- eat the biggest meal in the evening, this rule
would also allow your internal digestion system some rest, they are organs like any other and need their
resting times.
- Maintain a diary and write down roughly what you took and
when, your energy levels and mood as well as other things you notice. We are all different and it will
help you in the long run to identify what works for you.
- After 2 weeks, reintroduce regular food SLOWLY as your body
will be more sensitive.
